We listen. We challenge. We transform.
I’m Tyler Pruitt, a licensed professional counselor who works with individuals and couples seeking meaningful, lasting change—not surface-level coping or endless processing.
I entered this field because I’ve seen how easily people can feel misunderstood, mislabeled, or trapped in patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy, at its best, should be a place where you are fully heard and thoughtfully challenged. My approach centers on helping clients understand why their patterns exist, how they developed, and what needs to change for real progress to occur.
I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating emotional dysregulation, relationship conflict, attachment wounds, anxiety, identity stressors, and life transitions. I also work with clients who feel stuck—those who are insightful but unable to translate awareness into action, or who find themselves repeating the same dynamics despite their best efforts.
My work integrates evidence-based practices with direct, collaborative engagement. I am active in sessions, honest in my feedback, and intentional in helping clients build accountability to themselves. Therapy with me is not about fixing you—because you are not broken. It is about increasing clarity, strengthening emotional resilience, and developing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will sit with complexity, ask meaningful questions, and help you move toward change rather than avoidance, you’re in the right place.
